8. Karolina Pliskova – 2019 Earnings: $6.3 million

The Czech-born Pliskova won four events in 2019 but has not reached a Slam final since losing the 2016 U.S. Open. Pliskova increased her earnings by getting a new contract with FILA that made her some good millions.

Maria Yuryevna Sharapova is a Russian professional tennis player. Although she played under the banner of Russia with the Women’s Tennis Association, she lived since 1994 in the United States and was a permanent resident. Injuries limited Sharapova to only 18 matches over the past year, but she maintains a lucrative endorsement with Nike, in addition to her Porsche, Head, Evian and Tag Heuer partnerships.

Caroline Wozniacki is a Danish former professional tennis player. She won 30 WTA singles titles, including six in 2010 and 2011, the most in a year by a WTA player. She announced that she was going to retire On December 6 2019.

Sloane Stephens born March 20, 1993, is an American professional tennis player. After Wimbledon 2018 she achieved a career-best ranking of number 3 in the world. Stephens was the 2017 US Open champion, and has won six WTA singles titles in total.

Simona Halep is a Romanian professional tennis player. In 2017 and 2019 she was ranked number 1 in singles. In total, she has been number 1 for 64 weeks, which ranks tenth in the history of the Women’s Tennis Association rankings.

3. Angelique Kerber – 2019 Earnings: $11.8 million

Angelique Kerber is a German professional tennis player. In 2018 Kerber won Wimbledon and finished the year ranked second in the world. That year she renewed contracts with Adidas, SAP, Generali and NetJets.
