The world we live in is beautiful and strange at the same time. Most of us wonder about the mysterious places on earth. And each corner waits silently to be discovered by us.  Here are 9 places that can tickle our curiosity.

9. Thor’s Well in Oregon,USA

This place is the gem of Oregon. It is so mysterious and mesmerizing, just look at it for a second and you will fall in love at first sight. This place is called “the gateway to hell” or the “sinkhole”  the reason is the aura that creates, sometimes the waves are so giant that can take away everything that encounters. Dangerous? Well we can enjoy the view at least.

8. Pamukkale, Turkey

Pamukkale locates in Turkey and is an UNESCO World Heritage which takes place at the ancient ruins of Hierapolis that before was a city. A paradise, everything in white with natural beauty. It attracts a lot of tourists and we can totally see why.

7. Lake Hillier, Western Australia

PINK! This lovable color can be seen in a lake on the south coast of Western Australia. The vibrant pink color is permanent,  due to the presence of the organism which is a micro-algae called Dunaliella Salina. Dunaliella is found in sea salt fields and by the scientist it is safe to swim in it. So can we take a dive and enjoy?

This place is found in Zhangjiajie, in the Hunan province of China. The highest mountain of Tianzi Mountain is Kunlun Peak and the lowest is Shilanyu. These quartz sandstone where formed 400 million years ago and are great attractions for tourists. It is like a great greenery park created on air. Magical and mesmerizing.

5. Socotra Island, Yemen.

If you want to make a great sci-fi movie this place is the perfect choice. Located between the Guardafui Channel and the Arabian Sea, is the largest of the four islands in Socotra Archipelago. This place is described as “the most alien-looking place on Earth.” Ok we need to go there right now!

4. Fly Geyser, Nevada, USA

Fly Geyser on the Fly Ranch, near Gerlach in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada puts out boiling-water that has heat and sulfur loving microorganisms. The temperature and chemical composition of the mineral laden water are unique. Due to thermophilic algae are created the heavenly great red and green colors. It is really something that can make everyone’s eyes sparkle.

3. Cat Island, Japan

Any cat lovers over here? Well we have a whole island with lovely cats for you.  This place is located in Tashirojima, Japan. The population there due to beliefs that feeding cats will bring wealth and good fortune has made this island filled with various cats. It has gotten a little out of hand because the population of cats right now is more than the people that live in the island. So dogs are restricted for sure.

2. Glass Beach, Usa

This place is located on California and the funny thing is that before it was a beach when every garbage was thrown at it. But after 1960s everything changed, the waves took all the rubbish away and turned them in rainbow pebbles. It is a great attraction for people when they can take the glass and make different decorations with them. Not a good idea in fact.

This place is a large-scale sculpture of a hand located in the Atacama Desert in Chile. Mario Irarrazabal is the creator of this bizarre sculpture and he is known to express the loneliness on his work. A hand rising from the sand and looking for what? Saving or freedom?
