Donald Trump hangs up on reporter!

Donald Trump’s interview with Steve Inskeep of NPR lasted only a few minutes.

On Tuesday (January 11), the former president spoke briefly with the reporter; marking the first time he has agreed to be interviewed by NPR since their initial request in 2015.

Despite the fact that the pre-recorded interview was supposed to last 15 minutes, Trump abruptly ended it after being questioned about the 2020 race.

The two started by talking about the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I suggest getting the vaccines,” Trump stated. “But I believe it is a personal decision”. He also expressed his belief that the mandates were “actually harming our country.”

They then turned their attention to the 2020 presidential election. As well as Trump’s and his followers’ unfounded assertions that it was rigged in favor of Vice President Joe Biden.

“Is talking about the 2020 election in 2022 a disadvantage for Republicans?” Steve was the one who inquired.

“No, I think it’s an advantage,” he said; citing unproven “findings” in Arizona and “what’s going on” in Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. He said, “They’re finding things that nobody thought conceivable,” and added, “This was a dirty election.”

“The audit in Arizona, which was set up by your pals,” Steve said, “didn’t identify any severe flaws”. He questioned why officials had accepted the findings if that was the fact.

Trump responded, “Because they’re RINOs.” “And, to be honest, a lot of people are doubting that.”

“Because Mitch McConnell is a loser,” he stated when asked why the bulk of his allies were not standing with him on his 2020 election falsehoods.

Trump then claimed that “nobody believes” Biden “all of a sudden won 80 million votes,” despite the fact that he could only “gather 20 people for a crowd” and “nobody came to see.”

“Perhaps because the election was about you,” Steve said, “if you’ll pardon me.”
