Kanye West gives a speech about reuniting with Kim

On Wednesday afternoon, Kanye West makes a surprise visit at the Los Angeles Mission’s Annual Thanksgiving event in Los Angeles (November 24).

At the occasion, the 44-year-old rapper photographed with Rev. Troy Vaughn and gave a message to the gathering about “coming home.”

Kanye focused much of his message on how God was calling him to reconcile with his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian.

Kim has recently been linked to Pete Davidson and has been seen on numerous outings with him.

“God’s narrative is that we can be redeemed in all of these relationships,” he explained (via Page Six). “We’ve made blunders.” I’ve made blunders. I’ve done things as a husband that were not appropriate in public, but today, for whatever reason — I had no idea I’d be in front of this microphone — I’m here to rewrite the narrative.”

“I have to be next to my children as much as possible,” Kanye continued. So, when I’m not in the house, I have a house right next door. I’m doing everything I can to be close to the action… I’m trying to convey this in the most rational, calm manner possible, but I need to return home.”

The recent Grammy nominee was at the event today to meet with the CEO and president of LA Mission, a group that works to combat homelessness in the city, and “exchange ideas.”
