Season 3 of Netflix’s ‘You’ has been released
The third season of the popular Netflix series premiered on October 15.
Penn Badgley, Victoria Pedretti, and Saffron Burrows return in the latest season of the program. Story talks about a dangerously charming, obsessive young man. He goes to great measures to infiltrate himself into the lives of those he is enthralled by.
The new season also features Shalita Grant, Travis Van Winkle, Dylan Arnold, and Tati Gabrielle.
But what are the reviews for Season 3?
On RottenTomatoes, the season presently has a 95 percent Fresh rating from critics.
The Guardian: “As it achieves the impossible and wiggles out of its basic premise, You is growing more self-aware – and it’s all the better for it.”
“More and more, the program seems to be arguing. Joe’s difficulties are merely a slightly amplified version of the viewer’s own,” according to Variety. He’s referred to as ‘You.’ But the show’s history is littered with too much hideous violence for us to empathize to him.”
“A stalker drama might be amusing, but it has nothing on the murder-romp possibilities of a serial murderer. Where no one trusts anyone else but also someone needs to finish the murdering in time;” Vulture said.
“It can be overloaded at times. You blends blatant humor with emotional sophistication, all while keeping the mystery intact,” according to AV Club.
“Pedretti’s portrayal is a delightful blend of wrath and bougie suburban white lady privilege. A chaotic tour de force that’s every bit as messy and reactive as Badgley’s Joe is detached and calculating,” according to Paste Magazine.
“Regardless of the conclusions it draws, You remains an intriguing look at exactly how hard it is to outwit and outrun your own nature.” IndieWire wrote.
“Honestly, I could watch these two try to out-gaslight, gatekeep, and girlboss one other for another 10 episodes to a pulpy soundtrack of Baby Queen and Taylor Swift,” Glamour stated.
