Trey Songz investigated for sexual assault in Vegas

Authorities in Las Vegas are reportedly looking into an alleged sexual assault involving Trey Songz.

A spokeswoman for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Agency told People that the department received “a report of a sexual assault event purported to have occurred at a hotel in the 3700 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard” on Sunday (November 28).

The 37-year-old musician, whose legal name is Tremaine Neverson, is the subject of the alleged event. The department’s sex crimes branch is investigating the event.

“Neverson is assisting the probe;” the department said in a statement.

According to People, the musician was accused of sexual assault again last year after a woman called Aliza claimed he wouldn’t allow her leave his hotel room.

“I kept asking, ‘When can I leave, what time is it?'” says the narrator. Aliza remarked. “And he simply wouldn’t respond; he’d just f——- ignore me.” ‘All right,’ I say. “You may go when I go to my flight,” he said, and I was like, “Kay, when is that?” “Wouldn’t tell me,” says the narrator.

On social media, he refuted the charges, stating that they were “convenient” for those looking to “wreck someone’s life.”
